Hi! I'm "Boomer",

I'm a Standard Poodle and weigh about 68 pounds. Bill & Anne adopted me from the poodle rescue kennels in Woodland Hills, California on July 13, 2001. I don't really know the date I was born but they said I was about one or two years old when I was adopted so my new birthday is July 13th. I don't really care what day they choose as long as I get some presents and maybe a steak...

My previous parents named me "Boomer" and I try to live up to that name. I can be found "booming" around my back yard or through the house. Sometimes I think I drive Anne crazy...

I really like living here. I get the full royal treatment. When I arrived, Anne bought me a new blue rug which I used to sleep on. Now I have a "top of the line" Tempura pet bed. Sometimes I sneak up on their bed after they go to sleep though...

They don't know if I have ever been to obedience training but I think I know what Bill wants me to do, so I do the right things. I'm so good at it, they think I have been trained...

The time has really passed quickly and it seems like just yesterday that I was adopted. Anne says "it was a lot of work bringing a "new boy" home, but, after all these years, they know I'm worth it"...

Note:  Boomer will have been with us for eleven years as of 13 July 2012. Time flies when you are having fun!
