Funny...How Time Slips Away

Hi! I'm Bill. I was born in New Jersey . Spent my childhood years in Harrison, NJ. Moved to the small town of Changewater, NJ where I started High School and a final move to Washington NJ where I lived until joining the U.S. Navy in 1955.

I retired from the U.S. Navy in 1976 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer (E8). I then returned to work for the Navy Department as a civilian in 1980. I worked at the Naval Aviation Depot,at NAS Alameda, CA, as a Quality Engineering Branch Head (GS12) until 1993, when I retired again, due to the base closings.

In October 1996, I enrolled in an intensive 18 month Electronics & Computer Technology Course at Heald College, School of Technology in Hayward, CA. which I completed in April 1998, graduating with honors, and receiving an Associate in Applied Science Degree. Continuing on at Heald, for another six months, I then completed a Microsoft Windows NT Networking Course and received another Associate Degree in Networking Technology upon graduation on October 15, 1998.

My main interests are anything to do with computers. I have developed several web pages for myself and friends. I have always been interested in photography, having had a number of film and digital cameras. My current one is the Sony DSC H5 (7.2 megapixel) digital camera. I am actively pursuing the fields of Digital Photography and Adobe Photoshop .
